Garage roofs are the job big firms quote silly money for, because it is not worth their overhead to turn up. That is exactly why it is worth mine.
Most are old felt on a timber deck that has been leaking quietly for years, soaking whatever is stored underneath.
EPDM rubber or GRP on a sound deck will see out the garage. It is a one-day job on most single garages.

What the job involves
- 1Check the deck first
New covering over a rotten deck fails fast. If the boards are soft, they get replaced and that goes in the quote up front.
- 2New covering, properly trimmed
Edge trims and drips fitted so water leaves the roof rather than running down the wall.
- 3Usually done in a day
Single garages are typically one visit, weather allowing.

How much is a new garage roof?
A single garage in EPDM or felt is usually between £900 and £1,800 depending on size, access and what is underneath. I will confirm after a look.
How much does a roof repair cost in Leeds?
Most small repairs, a slipped tile or a bit of flashing, land between £150 and £400. A bigger job needs a look first. I quote in writing before anything starts, and the quote is the price.
Do you charge for quotes?
No. I come out, look at the roof properly, and tell you what it needs. If it does not need doing, I will say so.
How quickly can you come out?
For a leak, usually the same day or the next morning. I will get it watertight first and sort the proper repair once the weather allows.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured for public liability. Ask to see the certificate and I will send it over before I start.
