Straight answers
How much does a roof repair cost in Leeds?
Most small repairs, a slipped tile or a bit of flashing, land between £150 and £400. A bigger job needs a look first. I quote in writing before anything starts, and the quote is the price.
Do you charge for quotes?
No. I come out, look at the roof properly, and tell you what it needs. If it does not need doing, I will say so.
How quickly can you come out?
For a leak, usually the same day or the next morning. I will get it watertight first and sort the proper repair once the weather allows.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured for public liability. Ask to see the certificate and I will send it over before I start.
Will I be dealing with you or a salesman?
Me. I quote the job, I do the job, and I am the one you ring afterwards. No call centre and no lads you have never met on your roof.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Guarantee length depends on the job and the materials, and it is written on the quote before you agree to anything.
How do I know if I need a repair or a whole new roof?
Age, spread and the state of the battens underneath. One slipped tile is a repair. Widespread slippage on a roof past fifty years old usually is not. I will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes, and they are most of what I do. A single tile, a bit of guttering, a chimney flaunching. The jobs bigger firms will not turn out for.
